There are three accredited band repair schools in the US where you will learn the fundamentals of repairing woodwind and brass instruments, as well as how to fabricate tools and instrument parts using machinery such as lathes, drill presses, and bench motors.   You will develop job-entry skills in all areas of band instrument repair and restoration.

These programs range from 1 to 2 year programs where you can earn a repair degree or an AAS (Associates of Applied Sciences) Degree.   Click on the links to learn more information.  The directors at each school are also AMAZING people, and would love to chat and give you more information.
