Yanagisawa Alto Sax. Model: 9932Z, the “Peter King”. Made in Japan. It is estimated that between 17-50 of this model were ever made. Features a bronze body for added warmth and complexity, highly engraved on neck, bell, bottom bow and key cups, solid silver bell & underslung neck, gold wash on inside of bell, high F♯ key, reinforced double arms on low C and B for stability, and blue steel springs for a fast, consistent action. Approximately 90% original lacquer remaining; some wear most notably on the body above the neckstrap ring, on the palm keys and on the neck receiver. Exceptionally clean with minimal signs of use — this instrument has been clearly well cared for and presents very close to “like new.” Serial # 002587xx. Consignment horn, sold-as; evaluated by our repair staff and found to be in excellent playing condition, with no outstanding mechanical issues at time of sale. Last repaired at our shop in December 2024 for a COA (clean, oil, adjust). Not eligible for shipping, in-store purchase only.
