This Yamaha YTS-82ZASP Custom Z Atelier Special Tenor Saxophone is a professional-level Bb tenor saxophone made in Japan. Built within Yamaha’s Atelier Special program, this limited-production Custom Z features a rare dark lacquer finish, Custom Z body design, medium-large bore, Custom V1 neck, hand-engraved bell, blue steel springs, no high F# key, rib-mounted construction, and Yamaha’s refined Custom Z ergonomics. This instrument was originally purchased as a demo and has been essentially unplayed since. It is exceptionally clean with minimal signs of use and presents very close to like-new condition.
This is a good choice for an advanced student, college player, professional saxophonist, collector, or serious player looking for a rare professional Yamaha tenor saxophone with quick response, tonal flexibility, and strong projection.
