Humes & Berg 108 Stonelined Trumpet Velvet-Tone Bucket Mute

The Humes & Berg 108 Trumpet Velvet-Tone Bucket Mute gives trumpet players a softer, darker muted sound than a straight or cup mute. Bucket mutes are designed to mellow the tone, reducing the direct edge of the trumpet while still keeping the sound usable in jazz band, concert band, pit orchestra, and commercial settings.

This mute is especially useful when the music calls for a warmer, more blended color. It is a good addition for trumpet players building a more complete mute collection beyond the basic straight and cup mutes.
