Humes & Berg 101 Stonelined Trumpet Straight Mute

The Humes & Berg 101 Trumpet Straight Mute is a standard performance mute for trumpet players who need a clear, focused straight-mute sound. Straight mutes are commonly required in concert band, jazz band, orchestra, honor band, and solo music, making this one of the first mutes many trumpet students need.

The Stonelined fiber construction gives the sound a slightly warmer character than many metal straight mutes while still producing the bright, centered effect expected from a straight mute. It is a dependable choice for students, schools, and advancing players building a basic mute setup.
