This Getzen Model 998 Valve Trombone is a Bb valve trombone made in the USA between approximately 1972 and 1973. Getzen has a long reputation for building durable, responsive brass instruments, and this model is a practical option for players who want a trombone sound with familiar valve fingerings instead of slide positions. It features a .500" bore, a 7 3/4" bell, and a separate bell section and valve cluster. It has been professionally cleaned and serviced by our in-house repair technicians; all valves have been aligned and move freely, and all slides move freely as well. It includes a mouthpiece and the original case in fine condition.
