This Buescher ?True Tone? Tenor Saxophone is a Model 157 Aristocrat tenor sax made in the USA in 1951. This model is considered a transition-era horn between the earlier True Tone designs and the Aristocrat line, giving it vintage Buescher tone with more modern ergonomics than the older True Tone models. It features a beautiful lacquer finish and has been professionally repadded and serviced by our in-house repair technicians to ensure maximum playability, including new corks, felts, and all new pads. It was repadded with MusicMedic tan pads with plastic domed resonators and includes the original case in good condition.

This is a great choice for a saxophonist looking for a vintage American tenor with warmth, character, and a more comfortable key layout than many earlier vintage horns. It would be a good fit for a jazz player, advancing student, collector, or serious musician who wants a professionally serviced tenor with classic Buescher personality. When purchased in-store, this instrument includes a 1-year RMMR warranty covering corks, felts, and minor adjustments. Please note that the warranty is not valid on shipped sales.
